The WWC Screening Unit is committed to making our website as accessible as possible. The WWC Check website currently meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 to A level. This website has been designed to be as accessible to as many users as possible, including:

  • people with disabilities;
  • people with slower internet connections;
  • rural and regional users; and
  • people using mobile devices.

The accessibility features available on this site include:

  • the ability to resize text;
  • the ability to print pages;
  • a list of software plug-ins users may require to view documents;
  • descriptive text for images (ALT text) that can be read by assistive technologies; and
  • responsive design for mobile devices.

Text resizing

Text on this site can be resized by using the – A + links located at the top right corner under the main menu. Select the - to decrease the text size. Select the + to increase the text size.

You can also resize text by:

  • using the zoom and increase font options from your browser’s menu;
  • pressing the Ctrl key (Microsoft Windows) or the Apple key (Mac OS) on your keyboard and use the + or – key to zoom in and out; or
  • pressing Ctrl on your keyboard and scroll with your mouse wheel.

Printer-friendly

Pages on this website can be printed using the print icon located at the top right corner under the main menu. You can also use the Print function of your browser to print whichever page you like. The print function is usually located under the File menu of your browser window.

When a web page is printed, it will only print the title of the page, the location of the page as well as the content. Navigation menus are automatically removed for your convenience to improve readability on paper.

Viewing documents

Throughout this website, there are documents that may require you to install additional software on your computer. Please note that in most cases you are not required to install anything as most computers are capable to read the documents and files on this website.

Exchanging files between previous releases of Microsoft Office and the 2007 Microsoft Office release

Microsoft has added new file formats to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 to reduce file size, improve security and reliability, and enhance integration with external sources. To help ensure that you can exchange documents between Microsoft Office releases, Microsoft has developed a Compatibility Pack for the Office Word, Office Excel, and Office PowerPoint 2007 File Formats.
