Request for information
After receiving your WWC Check application form, the WWC Screening Unit may contact you and/or your employer, volunteer organisation or education provider representative about your application for a WWC Check. This may be because your identity or child-related work cannot be established. It may also be to clarify information about your employer, volunteer organisation or education provider.
If you receive a request for further information about your child-related work or your identity please provide the required information to the WWC Screening Unit in the specified timeframe.
If the information is not received, your application for a WWC Check will be taken to be withdrawn. If that happens, you will no longer be able to engage in child-related work and if you wish to start child-related work in the future, you will need to re-apply for a WWC Check.
If you are an employee, volunteer or student the WWC Screening Unit will also send written notice of the withdrawal of your application to your employer, volunteer organisation or education provider.
